Ecolodge Majestic

We are proud to now offer our own lodge, which we have called Ecolodge Majestic. Recently inaugurated, it has 4 luxury geodesic domes and a common room, which we have just built (March 2022). We are the only agency to offer such a level of comfort, perfect for resting after a day of trekking (see more pictures).

The Ecolodge Majestic is located in the heart of the Andes (the Loreta La Playa area), in the middle of vegetation, with a huge tropical forest with waterfalls on one side, and the fascinating and tumultuous Salcantay River on the other side. If you are lucky, you may see monkeys at the edge of the forest early in the morning.

A common room with a relaxation area, a living room with television, a bar, a kitchen and a dining area, where breakfasts and meals are served, prepared by our cook.
Electricity (by connection to the electrical grid, not by solar panels).
We offer many activities, free of charge and at everyone's discretion, which are:
- Go down to the Salcantay River.
- Visit a coffee plantation located right next to our Ecolodge Majestic to learn about the culture, the harvest and the processing of coffee. The visit will end with the tasting of freshly ground coffee. It will be possible to buy coffee (which is really excellent) directly from the producer (bring money).
- Visit of coca, coffee, tea, banana, granadilla (sweet passion fruit), avocado and papaya plantations.
- Crossing by zipline (hanging cable).
- We are planning (not yet available) a Star Party in the evenings. The place is beautiful and perfect for observing space, our galaxy, the Milky Way, the constellations and nebulae. It is a unique and didactic experience, with quality equipment (motorized telescope Celestron Nexstar 6SE) and all the accessories so that everyone, of all ages, can participate and even take pictures of the sky with their cell phones. There will also be a certificate for each participant.
